Business Robbery Investigation: 4800 Block of W. Mercury Boulevard

The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in connection with a business robbery that occurred on March 25, 2024.

At approximately 7:07 p.m., Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to a business robbery that had just occurred at Lee’s Cleaners, located on the 4800 block of W. Mercury Boulevard. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, the suspect fled the business on foot, last see running northbound through the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a black male, last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, face mask, blue jeans, and gloves.
