The Hampton Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) in connection with a commercial burglary that occurred overnight between June 28, 2021, and June 29, 2021.

On June 29, 2021, officers responded to the first block of East Mellen Street for a complaint of a commercial burglary at the Phoebus Auction Gallery. Upon arrival, officers observed a broken glass pane in the front of the building.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect(s) gained entry by breaking the front glass pane. The suspect(s) then removed U.S. Currency and exited the building. The suspect(s) fled on foot in an unknown direction.

There is no suspect description and no photos of the suspect available at this time.
