Homicide Investigation: 200 Block of Upland Drive

The homicide victim has been identified as Damian Jermond Knowlin, a 47-year-old Hampton man.

This case remains under investigation and there are no new details at this time.

The Hampton Police Division is currently investigating a homicide that occurred on January 24, 2024.

At approximately 12:29 p.m., Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to a shooting that had just occurred in the 200 block of Upland Drive. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male inside of a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene by members of the Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue.

This incident is domestic-related and all involved parties have been identified. The decedent’s information is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. Members of the Hampton Police Division’s Major Crime Unit are investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding this incident.
