On Monday, June 24, 2019, at 11:36 a.m. the Hampton Police Division was notified by Julia Tomlin that her 2-year-old son, Noah was missing. This began an extremely intensive investigation. This two-pronged process included both search and investigative efforts.

Tonight we are announcing an arrest related to the disappearance of Noah Tomlin. Julia Leanna Tomlin, a 34-year-old Hampton woman, has been charged with three counts of felony child neglect.

Unfortunately to date, Noah has not been found; however, based on the highly coordinated investigation we currently believe him to be deceased. Based on the investigation, we are intensifying our search efforts to find Noah with a more specific focus. As the investigation is on-going and in a critical phase, we are very limited in what information can be released.

If you or anyone you know has information that will assist police, they are encouraged to contact the Hampton Police Division at 757–727–6111 or the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP. Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip by visiting our secure tip form here or P3Tips.com. Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court. If a Crime Line results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.00.
